Fun fact about this film: it was selected by the United States Library of Congress to be preserved in the National Film Registry in 1995.  Join us as we talk about John Ford’s western, Stagecoach starring John Wayne. 

This film is not only banned in Russia but allegedly there has been 1.5 million illegal downloads from the country. Today, we discuss Armando Iannucci’s satire movie The Death of Stalin featuring an all-star cast. Trigger warning: this the film does have dark themes and sexual assault references and we do discuss them.

Despite being a commercial success in the United Kingdom and India, this film is considered a sleeper hit in the U.S. In today’s episode, we talk about Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire starring Dev Patel and Freida Pinto.
